Fat Bombs

Fat bombs are a simple, satisfying option for anyone looking to move away from highly processed, sugar-heavy snacks. They’re especially helpful if you’re aiming to increase healthy fat intake, reduce sugar, or follow a ketogenic-style approach. Because they’re rich and lightly sweet, they tend to be very filling—so one or two is usually enough to curb cravings without overdoing it.

This recipe is flexible and easy to customize. You can add a few drops of pure vanilla or peppermint extract, switch up the type of nut butter, or even use coconut butter in place of the nut butter or oil.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup nut butter of choice or coconut butter

  • ¼ cup cocoa or cacao powder

  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil

  • Stevia or honey to taste (or ~1 tbsp liquid sweetener of choice)

  • Optional: ⅛ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.

  2. If the mixture feels too dry (this can vary depending on the nut butter), add a little more coconut oil as needed.

  3. Pour into a small container, ice cube tray, or silicone mold.

  4. Freeze for 1–2 hours, or until firm.

Store in the freezer, as they will soften quickly at room temperature due to the coconut oil.
