Bulletproof Coffee

Adding butter and MCT oil to high-quality coffee in the morning may be a good strategy for those needing help with weight mangement, sustained energy, and a brain boost. It is also a good alternative to higher-carb breakfasts for some. If you tolerate dairy and coffee (not everyone does), this may be a good addition to your morning routine!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brewed coffee (we like Danger Coffee since it is free of mold and chemicals)

  • 1/2 - 2 Tbsp MCT Oil*

  • 1-2 Tbsp grass-fed butter or ghee

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or with a milk frother until it looks creamy.

  2. Enjoy a great start to your day!

*If MCT Oil is new to you, start with a small amount and work up in amount over time - too much too fast can cause an unpleasant GI response.
