Oral Health

The mouth is an ecosystem that communicates with the rest of the body. Every tooth is it’s own organ, with it’s own nerve, blood, and lymph supply. They are living, breathing organisms, not just static structures like we often tend to view them as. Caring for your oral health is one way to support your overall wellbeing!

Oral Health rinse

Equipment:

Instructions:

  • Combine the following:

    • ½ mL of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide (without stabilizers)

    • 1/8 teaspoon FINE GROUND sea salt

    • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

    • Fill reservoir the rest of the way with distilled water

  • Use system as directed

  • Use this recipe for 1-2 weeks daily, then cycle in distilled water with silver or distilled water alone for a few weeks

 Oral Health Swish

  • Open a capsule of Biotoxin Binder into distilled water, swish for 20-30 seconds, then spit it out. Easy peasy!

    • Supports a healthy oral microbiome and detoxification of impurities that may be lingering in the oral cavitiy.

    • You can do this for ~1 week daily, then hold off for the rest of the month

Oil Pulling

  • Use 1 Tbsp of oil (such as coconut oil or an ozonated oil blend), put in mouth - DO NOT SWALLOW.

  • Vigorously push and pull the oil around your mouth, gums, teeth and upper throat for five to twenty minutes.

  • The oil may start out watery but can thicken as it picks up debris in the mouth. Once done, spit it out into a trash can and rinse your mouth with clean water. You can follow up by brushing your teeth.

Causes of Dental Disease:

  • Outside or internal toxins effecting the autonomic nervous system and balance of the oral ecosystem

  • Poor lymph drainage

  • GI microbiome disruption

  • Nutrient depletion

  • Cellular energy depletion

Dental tips:

  • Avoid fluoride treatments and fluoride-containing products (which disrupts oral microbiome and leads to other negative health outcomes)

  • Sonic slider – use to help with lymph drainage after an extraction or other dental prodcedure, additional  in the case of tooth pain

  • Adjust your diet and toxic expsoure. Toxins and high processed/sugar diets can redirect fluid flow away from the tooth – leading to de-mineralization of enamel, leaving teeth more susceptible to bacteria/acid. Minerals are what help maintain a neutral pH of the blood supply, including to the tooth.

  • Find a IAOMT or IABDM certified biologic dentist to work with . Visit dentaldetoxchecklist.com to get a list of questions when interviewing a dentist.

  • See our page on how to support sinus health (the 2 systems are very closely related)

  • Support drainage health (each tooth needs to be able to drain)

Additional Support for Dental health:

Children-specific:

  • Dental homeopaths, CT-Minerals, Vit D/A/K, Magnesium Glycinate, Omega-3’s/Cod Liver Oil (all of the above linked are fine for children, check with a healthcare provider on dosages)
